ASB is a fantastic school. Orientation is excellent - teachers are flown in for this orientation at the school's expense the April before they start. There are endless PD opportunities with global experts being brought in to work with faculty and students. The school is a very "can do" place - there is a Research and Development team to spearhead new initiatives. Technology is amazing. You will be provided money to buy a laptop of choice and around 40 faculty members are also part of a mobile devices prototype so they are provided money to buy a mobile device of choice too. Housing is not great. It's very close to both campuses, but the area is a tough one with little provided for ex-pats. It's easy to travel by taxi or auto rickshaw to other parts of the city. There is a transportation allowance which many have used to put towards purchasing a car. You will be well looked after. You will be able to employ a housekeeper and probably a driver if you want so that you don't have to worry about these things. School takes care of all maintenance issues in the apartments. India is an amazing country. If you get the opportunity to experience both India and ASB I would advise you to take it.
