Some things to note: *The pollution in the city is quite serious. This current year has been an improvement over previous years. *QSI prefers couples. Be warned, even though they talk about the possibilities for transferring after two years, you are unlikely to be offered a transfer during their transfer process if you are not a teaching couple. Singles will likely only be offered transfers to Kazakhstan or China -- the hard to fill positions. *PD exists, but it is school provided and there is no choice nor stipend available (to my knowledge) *A few of the staff members at this particular branch are poisonous and the current administration (which is set to all change next year - primary director, secondary director AND head of school) has been ineffective at dealing with it. The current strategy appears to be to try and wait for the bad elements to simply leave the school. Unfortunate considering some of those bad elements have openly expressed their desires to never leave. Everything else about the school is really nice. The area is developing rapidly. Most of the people who work at the school are genuine and caring folk and it is, overall, a nice place to work.
